Gannett Fleming Architects Expands Leadership Team

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming Architects, Inc., the architectural affiliate company of Gannett Fleming, Inc., has named George Campanella, PE, LEED® AP, as chairman, Daniel Balto, AIA, LEED® AP, as director, and Joe Tulumello, AIA, LEED® Green Associate, as secretary and treasurer. Campanella is also Gannett Fleming’s Facilities Business Line director and senior vice president, Balto is Gannett Fleming’s architectural practice leader and vice president, and Tulumello is Gannett Fleming’s Northeast Region Facilities Business Line leader and vice president.
The restructuring of the executive staff supports the growing architectural practice and demonstrates Gannett Fleming’s commitment to providing growth opportunities for employees. Along with the newly appointed directors, five employees were named as vice presidents of Gannett Fleming Architects:
- Andrew Balto, AIA, NCARB, senior project architect
- Huzefa Irfani, RA, New York architectural department manager
- Stephen Lis, AIA, CID, New Jersey architectural department manager
- Soloman Peterson, AIA, Facilities Business Line area manager for Maryland and Virginia
- Michael Snyder, AIA, senior project architect.
Recent award-winning projects completed by Gannett Fleming Architects include the Central Services Facility for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, the Springfield Railcar Assembly Facility Design-Build project for Plaza Construction in Massachusetts, and the Denver Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility for the Denver Regional Transportation District. Gannett Fleming Architects is a multidiscipline consulting firm engaged in architectural building design and associated engineering. The firm is owned and managed by senior design professionals and consists of a diversified staff of architects, engineers, and technicians.
