Communications Electronics Training Complex - University Park Airport

Owner: Pennsylania Air National Guard
Location: State College, Pa.

The Pennsylvania Air National Guard needed a new base of operations for two Mobile Radar units stationed in State College, Pa. The challenge of this project was to design this new base at the University Park Airport on 25 acres just below the main runway. Special consideration was given to designing a facility that did not encroach on airport operations or violate FAA regulations while still meeting the needs of the Guard.
